This is the owner of this solid family-treasure. The car runs great and it always put a smile in the face on the driver. A Blaupunkt FM radio is soon in place so he can listen to NRK P1 anytime.

Hit the road again

Back from BugRun 2008

Rumors says that the latelooker soon will be on the road again. A new engine is in place and it`s startet. Tuning will be tomorrow, and the first trip with new engine will be this weekend. Go dad! PS. The rearlights is changed to red/white for a better look. The rear weels is also changed to 5,5" OG wheels. The car has got some other minor changes as well, but you can hear about them later.

Maybe in April?

Dads car will be on the road again in April. This shot is from Sweden, on the way home from Mantorp.

Coinholder

I got this NOS coinholder from Singapore. It works great for both "1 kroner and 10 kroner". It is a magnet behind it, and can be mountet on the dash. Now dad always will have money for parking.

Nice litterature from the norwegian VW-dealer

This is a nice brochure with all the options you could choose for your VW in the mid 70s from Harald A. Møller. I have collected some of it, but want more. I want to make a picture of all one day, but all stuff is not at the same place.

Cool OG detalj for the Savannah

I got this nice clips for securing the washfluid-bootle in the spare-tire. They are small, in plastic and can easily be broken.

Correct tools and tollmap for the Savannah

I have been searching for the correct tools and toolbag for my cars and dads cars. This pictures shows you the correct tools for a 1968 and later beetle.

NOS H4

I have this set of NOS H4 Hella lamps for dads car. They are still laying on the shelf until some day he want to put them on. This set is market VW and comes with instructions. I found them in a antiqueshop in Lillehammer (OL 94) this summer.

Savannah

It has not been so much driving with the Savannah this summer, but here it is out for a some fresh air. We tryed lowered splindler, but without luck. I think that 5,5" and 4,5" looks great anyway.

NOS Norwegian gravelguards in a NOS-box

Finally one NOS-set with gravelguards come its way to me. It is NOS in the box. This sweet ones will be mounted on the car before the summer.

Manifold

I am sorry to not show you the picture of the whole engine. But it will come? Here it is a picture of the fresh painted manifold. The engine is ready for test-start this week:)

The new engine

The seventymodel will have a new engine in summer 09. My dad is almost finished with it. All the thin is powdercoated. All the bolts is made black in a 3-base-project. Very cool. The manifold is paintet with special paint from Gasoline in Norway.

Winter

The Savannah is inside the barn and waiting for its new engine next summer. The car has still company with my Oval57. But now is the 70-modell restored.

This weekend I bought this cool picnicbag at local floomarket. I also bought a Shell map from 1971.

Look at my new rear lamps!

After buying a wrong set from Wolfsburg West, and tryed one from Folkabiten in Sweden, suddenly HotShop in Norway come up with some that fit ok. That is not at all the best quality, but it looks ok?
